One of the rarest versions of the least rare car out there! Kinda like a “proto-Solara.
” I’m pretty sure they didn’t make very
many with just
2 doors.
My mom had a Camry of this generation growing up, but in the wagon body style. Even with the V6 it was sooooo slow.
Still, this person obviously cares about their car, and honestly it’s pretty clean for something that old. I dunno, I just thought it was kinda cool.

I like it. If sport springs are available, I’d do them. Perk up handling just enough and lower the car 1" or so to look better.
My base Subaru Forester was enough fun to drive with lowered, sport springs even with it’s 112 HP (or whatever it was). I suppose manual helped.
I like wagons but t
he w
agon of that gen was
weird looking
around the D-pillar, I
IRC.

Thanks, I love it!

That D-Pillar was so awkward, kinda what made it cool to me though! Super vertical rear door, made it a lot more spacious than following the curve of the side window. Also double rear wipers = opulence!

This is exactly the kind of random car I’d stop to take a picture of, and my wife would look at me like she doesn’t even know who she married :P

That’s a very handsome car.

Yeah i definitely remember taking journeys in the jump seats in the back of the camry wagon. It was ugly though.

Yeah, thankfully my girlfriend suffers from what she calls “car blindness” so me taking a picture of an early 90's camry doesn’t really phase her any more or less than me stopping to take a picture of an aston martin or something.
It has hilariously led her to go and stand next to/wait for me to unlock random ass cars in the parking lot from time to time.
Me: Notice anything different about my car?
Her: Uh...no?
Me: Like how it was a 350Z for eight years, but now its a Celica?
Her: What are you talking about?
Me: uh, i’m parked over here.

Yeah, it’s surprisingly good looking, I think part of it is that color which is also super rare. Not the best choice of wheels, but honestly still a lot better than they could have been/what i’d expect from the aftermarket.

the 3rd gen Camry is the best car ever made :o)
yeah, that wagon is awesome, with the third seat and TWO rear wipers!!!!
And that coupe is so much better than the later Solara shit where they tried to make it a separate model. Fuck that shit, just make it a 2-door version of the Camry because there is nothing wrong with that.
I actually made a non-Solara 2-door shop
of the
5th gen
Camry, and I also shopped a couple
Hondas
too

It was indeed, but I think it’s coming back to an extent with all the rad! mayhem that has brought it some coolness factor.

That’s early too, before they went to body color across the back in 95 I think.

For some reason I want to say the coupe was 94+ so could be a ‘94.
Damnit gonna go research this now.
